Black Club Music Ecology ft. Suzi Analogue

Join In Session for Sonic Study Hall: Black Club Music Ecology, featuring producer and professor Suzi Analogue. Together, we’ll explore the histories and pivotal roles of DJs, artists, club promoters, and owners, along with the social-political landscapes that shape iconic genres like techno, house, and Baltimore club music.

Participants will take part in a one-hour interactive presentation, followed by Q&A and discussion on the symbiotic relationship between club culture and its communities. Homework included!

This workshop, like all In Session programming, prioritizes the attendance and voices of Black women and gender expansive students, while remaining open to all POC women and gender expansive students.

Tickets are $5 for Black women and gender expansive attendees and $10 for POC gender expansive community attendees.
